We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team and play a key role in supporting customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and operational success. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, managing customer orders, responding to inquiries, preparing quotes, and resolving concerns in a timely and professional manner. This role works closely with customers and internal departments to ensure accurate communication, timely follow-up, and a seamless customer experience. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will collaborate with outside sales, order entry, material management, logistics, purchasing, and sales management teams to coordinate order fulfillment and meet customer expectations. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Sales Intern Duties and Responsibilities Respond promptly to customer calls, emails, quote requests, and general sales inquiries. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to encourage trust, repeat business, and long-term account growth. Prepare accurate quotes, order acknowledgements, and related sales documentation. Follow up on open quotes, active orders, and pending customer approvals. Identify missing or incomplete data and proactively seek out answers from customers or salespersons. Initiate Contract Review. Assist Order Entry with entry of orders as needed. Coordinate with outside sales representatives, order entry, charting, purchasing, and logistics, to resolve questions and keep orders moving. Enter and maintain accurate customer part specs, orders, and activity records in CRM, ERP, or other company systems. Monitor customer order status, delivery timing, and potential issues to ensure expectations are met. Support sales goals by identifying target items and reactivation opportunities within assigned accounts. Provide professional post shipment support, including issue resolution, reject and returns coordination, and customer satisfaction checks. Stay informed about pricing, capabilities, industry trends, and competitor activity. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Engineering, or Business OR previous sales experience Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite Strong verbal and written communication Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong work ethic and attention to detail
