Job Description
Adecco has partnered with a local premier manufacturer looking to add an Inside Sales Coordinator to their team in Howell, MI. This is an on-site, direct hire opportunity. An Inside Sales Coordinator produces customer quotations, revisions and follow-ups, answers technical and specification questions, and provides general customer service. The position is customer-facing and requires a high degree of professionalism, organization, and problem-solving ambition. This position reports to the Inside Sales Supervisor at the assigned plant location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed quotations based on customer inquiries and requests for proposals.
- Work collaboratively with other inside sales coordinators to manage the inbound queue of customer requests.
- Meet or exceed expected quote turnaround time from receipt of inquiry as established by the company.
- Meet expected daily/weekly quotas for customer outreach and quotation goals.
- Use established company pricing models to ensure margins meet or exceed company goals.
- Make outbound sales calls to prospects and customers based on sales activity reporting.
- Interact with customers in a positive and professional manner via phone, email, or in-person sales or quotation questions.
- Foster and maintain positive customer relationships for internal and external customers.
Technical Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- 4+ years; experience in a sales-related role for products that are manufactured or assembled in an industrial environment
- Excellent skills using Microsoft Office
- Experience utilizing CRM systems
- Building material sales or manufacturing experience and/or sound working knowledge of door and hardware industry products is preferred.
