Job Description

Customer Service / Inside Sales Job Description R Janus Supply, a janitorial supply retailer in downtown Port Huron, MI. We are seeking a personable, knowledgeable, detail oriented and reliable Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position plays a critical role in managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a smooth cash flow process.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities:
Computer skills and knowledge are a must Order processing and entering invoices Maintain customer records Assist new customers with product knowledge Provide customers with ongoing product support Perform sales calls to generate new business Contact new or existing customers to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needs Ability to learn knowledge of all products (chemicals, paper, floor machines, etc.) Study documentation or other information for new scientific or technical products Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms Communicate with internal departments and external clients regarding issues
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong knowledge of sales and procedures. Proficiency in computers. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing information.
