The Discharge Sales Representative is responsible for expanding market reach and maintaining customer/referral satisfaction within the Durable Medical Equipment industry. This role demands effective communication, industry expertise, and a commitment to ethical conduct. Sales Representatives will play a pivotal role in driving growth, managing client accounts, and ensuring seamless order processing. Essential Functions
Market Engagement:
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to engage key stakeholders, including nursing homes, hospitals, home health agencies, and memory care facilities.Order Management:
Take ownership of the complete order cycle, from initiation fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Client Presentations:
Deliver persuasive presentations to secure new business opportunities and introduce referrals to our new products and top-of-the-line service.Industry Expertise:
Stay up to date with industry trends, insurance requirements, and regulatory changes that may affect our clients.System Proficiency:
Utilize internal tools and systems, such as Parachute, Lazarus, and internal workflows, to optimize processes and increase productivity.Insurance Proficiency:
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of insurance documentation requirements, our product offerings, and the delivery process. Qualifications and requirements- Bachelor's Degree required. Competencies
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in using internal software and systems.
- Familiarity with healthcare insurance documentation and requirements.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to exceed targets.
- Exceptional verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Physical Requirements
- Prolong periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift, pull, push, and carry up to 70 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access all areas of the facility.
- Hearing, seeing and talking are required for this position.
