Mold Inspector, Mold Testing & Sales Consultant About MoldPro MoldPro is a family-owned company specializing in chemical-free mold inspections, mold testing, and mold remediation . We're looking for a motivated, customer-focused professional who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and building relationships. Position Summary As a Mold Inspector, Mold Testing & Sales Consultant , you will meet with homeowners, property managers, and business owners to evaluate mold concerns, perform thorough inspections and mold testing, educate customers on your findings, and recommend appropriate remediation solutions. This position combines technical knowledge, customer service, and consultative sales. The ideal candidate is honest, personable, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping people improve their indoor environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive residential and commercial mold inspections to include attics, basements, crawlspaces and main living areas. Identify moisture intrusion, water damage, and visible mold growth. Conduct mold testing, including air, surface, and bulk sampling when appropriate. Use moisture meters, thermal imaging cameras, hygrometers, and other inspection equipment. Document findings with detailed notes and photographs. Prepare professional inspection reports and recommendations. Educate customers on mold growth, moisture sources, and prevention. Present MoldPro's chemical-free remediation process with confidence. Prepare and explain remediation proposals. Answer customer questions honestly and professionally. Follow up with customers after inspections. Coordinate with the remediation team to ensure smooth project transitions. Maintain accurate CRM records and project documentation. Represent MoldPro with professionalism and integrity. Qualifications Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Comfortable presenting recommendations and closing sales. Excellent customer service skills. Strong attention to detail. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Organized and dependable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to climb ladders, access crawl spaces, attics, and other confined areas. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Experience in mold inspections or environmental consulting. Experience in construction, restoration, home inspection, HVAC, or water damage restoration. IICRC certifications are a plus. ACAC certifications are a plus. Sales or in-home consultation experience preferred. Experience with moisture mapping and thermal imaging. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate: Loves helping people.
