Location:
First 6 months-Training at Gurnee, IL (100% on-site) After the 6-month training-Detroit, MI area (Home office base) •Training duration is adjustable

$50K-$85K/year (DOE)
Language:
English at the idiomatic level is a must. Japanese is welcomed but not required The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for building and managing customer relationships, developing new business, and driving sales growth. This role focuses on both direct customers and distributors, ensuring strong communication between clients and manufacturing teams. Key Responsibilities Identify and approach potential new customers. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Monitor market trends and competitor activity. Provide product proposals and technical presentations. Execute sales strategies to meet revenue goals. Manage order processes and follow delivery schedules. Collect customer feedback and share insights with internal teams. Coordinate with engineering, marketing, and customer service. Report sales activities and progress regularly. Continuously develop product and industry knowledge. May be assigned other duties by managers Qualifications High school diploma required; sales training preferred. 2-3 years of outside work experience (sales in electronics or manufacturing preferred). Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Strong communication skills; English at an idiomatic level is required Understanding in Japanese working culture and/or language is a plus
