This position serves as a developmental role designed to prepare individuals for future sales and account management opportunities through hands-on training, field exposure, and direct mentorship from the Market Manager. Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate daily and weekly sales routes for outside sales activities. Research prospective customers and maintain accurate prospect lists. Follow up with leads, prospects, and inactive accounts through phone calls, emails, and other outreach methods. Schedule appointments, customer visits, and sales meetings for the Market Manager. Shadow the Market Manager on customer visits, prospect meetings, and sales presentations to learn the sales process and staffing industry best practices. Assist in preparing proposals, service agreements, presentations, and customer-facing materials. Enter and maintain prospect, customer, and sales activity information within the company CRM and applicant tracking systems. Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and target accounts. Track sales metrics, pipeline activity, and follow-up schedules to ensure opportunities continue moving forward. Support marketing initiatives, networking events, and lead generation campaigns as needed. Assist with customer retention efforts by conducting follow-up calls and gathering feedback from clients. Collaborate with recruiters and branch staff to ensure alignment between sales efforts and recruiting capabilities. Perform other duties as assigned in support of the sales and business development team. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with prospective customers. Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems. Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Previous customer service, sales support, staffing, or business development experience preferred but not required. Success Metrics Number of prospect follow-ups completed. Sales appointments scheduled. Sales routes planned and executed. CRM activity and data accuracy. Lead generation and pipeline support activity. Contribution to new business development efforts. Career Path This role is intended to provide exposure to staffing sales, account management, and business development. Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience working alongside leadership and may have opportunities to advance into Business Development Representative, Account Manager, or Market Manager positions.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
