Maxitrol Company, Headquartered in Southfield Michigan is an international leader in the design and manufacturing of gas pressure controls, regulators and electronic gas modulation systems. We have a diverse customer base and our products are used in a variety of industries including; HVAC, Heat Processing, Commercial Cooking, and Engine Power Generation just to name a few. We are currently looking for qualified individuals looking for a career in sales. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage an established territory with OEM customers across a diverse set of industries including Commercial Cooking, Infrared Heating, and Commercial/Industrial Rooftop Heaters. This position requires an individual capable of working independently and should possess a technical aptitude to quickly become knowledgeable of the company product line. The position will be based out of our Southfield, MI headquarters.
Responsibilities :
Maintain relationships with established OEM customer base Lead important sales initiatives such as new product launches Gather, track and present competitive market data and market conditions and trends Assist customers in the resolution of commercial and technical issues Identify and recommend new opportunities for application of Maxitrol products with both existing and new customers Participate in regular meetings and presentations to company leadership Attend national and regional trade shows to promote Maxitrol products Work with engineering and R&D departments on the development of new innovations and enhancements of current products.
Qualifications :
Educational requirement is a bachelors degree OR associate degree in HVAC, or other related technical fields of study, plus two or more years experience Some sales experience preferred Strong communication skills, written and verbal Willingness to travel as needed to support sales territory Should be a self-starter capable of working independently and have excellent time management skills. Knowledge of HVAC, natural gas industry and/or other wholesale distribution markets a plus. Must have computer skills in MSOffice. Experience using Lotus Notes a plus. Maxitrol Company is an
