This position is responsible for supporting the Sales and Customer Service teams in the development of product selling prices, taking into account manufacturing costs, volume, logistics costs and any other condition that may affect profitability. This posting is intended to fill a current vacancy at Max Solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Receive order/quote requests from CSR's/Sales
• Utilize ERP system to complete accurate estimates
• Work closely with Sales and Customer Service Representatives to ensure all orders are estimated accurately and in a timely manner
• Calculate freight costs
• Review unique/specific designs with the appropriate department manager or lead hand to determine make-ready times, machine running speeds and waste
• Calculating extra machine time required for processes such as embossing, foil, block changes, roll changes and security tag application
• Document manual adjustments approved or made by management to ensure the same changes are followed in repeat orders
• Source and enter extra charge costs (i.e. die costs, outside work, set ups) into the description to ensure the costs are captured by Customer Service/Sales
• Complete change orders/reruns when required
• Print layouts and completed estimates for CSR's/Sales
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Demonstrate a deliberate focus on

Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Customer Satisfaction Skills and Experience:

• Post-secondary education or comparable work experience
• Minimum of 3 years of Estimating experience in a print, paper, or packaging manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
