The Opportunity The Corporate Development Intern will support APi Group's mergers and acquisitions process, from pipeline development through deal execution. The intern will gain practical exposure to acquisition evaluation, financial analysis, and transaction support while contributing to active team priorities. Through this experience, you will gain exposure to the end-to-end M&A process and acquisition evaluation; build experience with financial analysis, market research, and executive-ready presentations; and learn how Corporate Development collaborates with internal and external stakeholders. What You'll Do Research industries, markets, and companies that may align with APi Group's acquisition strategy. Help maintain pipeline information and organize potential acquisition opportunities. Summarize company and market findings for team review. Support preliminary financial and accounting analysis of potential acquisitions. Assist with Excel analyses and PowerPoint materials used throughout the M&A process. Help organize deal-related information, track action items, and support execution activities. Complete research and initial evaluation materials for assigned acquisition opportunities; develop a clear Excel analysis or PowerPoint deliverable that supports an active pipeline or deal process; present a summary of findings and key learning to the Corporate Development team. What You'll Bring Required Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Foundational finance and accounting knowledge. Working proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications A rising sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor's degree Curious and enthusiastic problem solver. Motivated, dependable, and willing to work hard. Collaborative team player with strong attention to detail.
