Job Description

For over 50 years, Hewitt Machine & Manufacturing Inc. has been a trusted leader in dock, lift, and pontoon leg manufacturing. Proudly based in the heart of Minnesota's "Land of 10,000 Lakes," we serve a growing network of dealers across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. We're known for delivering high-quality, customizable solutions that elevate waterfront living. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Regional Sales Representative to help support our mission and drive results in the Western US & Canada market. About the
Role:
This is a great opportunity for a motivated and hands-on sales professional to manage an established territory, build lasting dealer relationships, and contribute to a high performing sales team. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for account development, prospecting, and tactical execution of the company's sales strategies. This is a base + commission role, designed to reward strong performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with dealers and prospective customers within your assigned territory Execute on daily and weekly sales activities including calls, visits, and follow-ups Identify customer needs and present Hewitt product solutions clearly and effectively Support sales initiatives set by the Sales Manager and contribute to team goals Provide accurate and timely reporting on customer activity, opportunities, and feedback Troubleshoot dealer and customer issues with professionalism and urgency Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends to better serve clients Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, customer service) to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment Represent Hewitt with professionalism and integrity at all times Travel up to 15%-25% of the time
What We're Looking For:
2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B or dealer/distributor environments Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple accounts Willing and able to travel, including to Canada Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Experience in marine, manufacturing, or outdoor equipment is a plus but not required Why Join Hewitt?
