Temp-to-Hire | Full-time About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Yard Helper workers for a building materials/lumber company in Rollingstone, MN. In this role, you'll support sales efforts, build strong customer relationships, and assist with daily yard and store operations. Yard Helper:
Assist customers by identifying needs and recommending the right products and solutions Support Outside Sales Representatives with sales activities and customer follow-ups Maintain working knowledge of lumber and home improvement products Help with daily yard and store operations, including organizing materials and assisting customers Resolve customer concerns, process credits/returns, and review open orders Assist customers with small projects such as decks, garages, windows, and doors What You Need to Bring to the
Yard Helper Role:
High school diploma or GED required; construction/design education preferred 1-3 years of sales or sales support experience (building materials preferred) Strong math skills including construction math and pricing calculations Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills Basic computer skills (MS Office and general systems) Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand/walk for an entire shift Valid Class D driver's license with clean MVR Why You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay , access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
