Flooring Sales Specialist

Job Overview Lake Flooring & Finishes is a locally owned flooring showroom in Camdenton, Missouri. We work with homeowners, builders, and remodelers to select flooring that fits lake living, everyday use, and long-term value. We are looking for a reliable, organized, and people-friendly team member to help manage showroom sales and office coordination. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, staying organized, and helping projects move smoothly from start to finish. This is not a computer-based design role. While an eye for style is helpful, we are focused on sales, organization, and customer service. Flooring and product training will be provided. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in the showroom Help customers select flooring products (hardwood, tile, carpet, LVP) Answer phones, emails, and customer inquiries Schedule measurements, installs, and follow-ups Prepare quotes, invoices, and basic paperwork Maintain organized customer files and job details Coordinate communication between customers, installers, and vendors Support basic social media posting and marketing tasks (optional) Keep the showroom organized and welcoming Qualifications Strong people and communication skills Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable using computers, email, and basic office software Sales or customer service experience preferred Flooring or construction experience is a plus but not required Willingness to learn products and systems Professional, dependable, and self-motivated Compensation Hourly pay based on experience Commission opportunities available after training Paid training provided Schedule In-person position Daytime hours Full-time or part-time considered Why work with us Locally owned and growing business Supportive, family-oriented work environment Training provided — no flooring experience required Opportunity to grow into sales and bonus opportunities Employee discounts on flooring materials
