Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Wedding and Special Event Sales Manager to lead our event sales initiatives and deliver unforgettable experiences for our clients. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for driving revenue through proactive sales strategies, cultivating client relationships, and coordinating seamless event planning processes. Your passion for hospitality, exceptional communication skills, and ability to manage multiple projects will ensure every wedding and special event exceeds expectations. Duties Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to attract new clients and expand existing accounts for weddings and special events. Conduct personalized consultations with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements, providing expert guidance on venue options, catering, decor, and services. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service packages to maximize revenue while ensuring client satisfaction. Collaborate with the events management team to plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of event execution from initial booking through post-event follow-up. Implement targeted marketing campaigns to promote event services through social media, online listings, partnerships, and local community outreach. Upsell additional services such as premium catering options, decor enhancements, entertainment packages, and event upgrades to enhance client experience. Manage budgets effectively for each event, ensuring profitability while maintaining high standards of quality and service delivery. Requirements Proven experience in sales or event management within hospitality settings such as hotels, restaurants, or banquet facilities. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals confidently while fostering positive client relationships. Excellent marketing skills with a keen understanding of event marketing channels and promotional strategies. Demonstrated ability to upsell services and customize packages based on client needs. Knowledge of event planning processes including vendor coordination, catering arrangements, contract management, and guest services. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines. Experience in banquet operations or hospitality environments is highly desirable; familiarity with contracts, catering logistics, and restaurant or hotel operations is a plus. Strong communication skills with a friendly yet professional approach that builds trust with clients and team members alike.
