Business Development Associate - Expand the Pipeline for
High-Quality Design-Build Projects Job Overview Company:

Salary/Pay Rate:
$40,000 base salary plus 6% commission on net profit ($40,000 - $90,000+ OTE).

St. Louis, MO.

The Opportunity You will serve as a relationship-driven growth engine, identifying new business opportunities and strengthening client partnerships to expand our project pipeline. This role offers the autonomy to connect with key industry stakeholders while benefiting from a family-focused culture with over 25 years of industry experience. You will make a direct impact on the company's long-term success by bridging the gap between initial client consultations and high-quality project execution. How You Will Make an Impact Identify and cultivate new business opportunities by networking with architects, brokers, and developers to build a robust project pipeline. Manage client consultations to capture project goals and ensure a seamless transition from preconstruction to execution. Coordinate with estimating and project management teams to prepare winning proposals and detailed project scopes. Strengthen company visibility by attending industry functions and representing our core values of loyalty and integrity. Maintain accurate CRM documentation of all leads and meetings to provide leadership with actionable pipeline insights. Foster long-term client loyalty by collecting post-project feedback and generating referrals for repeat business. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 1-3+ years of experience in business development, customer relations, or a related field. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, project-based environment. Strong interpersonal skills necessary for building rapport with property owners and industry professionals. Absolute willingness to travel locally as needed to meet with clients and attend networking events. Proficiency in professional communication and organizational skills for managing client documentation. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field. Demonstrated experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office to track sales activity. Previous exposure to the construction or real estate development industry.
