As a Sales Support Specialist , you will serve as a key point of contact for domestic customers, ensuring smooth coordination across sales, production, and logistics while supporting business growth and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities ✅ Customer & Sales Support Serve as the primary point of contact for domestic customers, managing communication, order processing, and issue resolution Conduct customer calls, surveys, and manage repeat orders to ensure high satisfaction Identify new sales opportunities through customer inquiries and follow up with pricing and product information ✅ Operations & Coordination Coordinate between sales, manufacturing, and production teams to support order fulfillment Manage invoicing, shipment documentation, and warehouse coordination for domestic locations Maintain accurate data across CRM and internal systems ✅ Logistics & Freight Management Assist customers with freight planning and coordination Obtain freight bids, prepare quotes, and manage bills of lading Track and audit freight costs, duties, and delivery expenses ✅ Process Improvement & Administration Support process improvements and implementation of technological solutions to increase efficiency Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information such as pricing and customer data Participate in departmental planning and cross-functional collaboration initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; science-related field preferred Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience with major chemical industry accounts Ability to travel internationally (including Europe) as needed Key Skills & Knowledge Strong communication and customer relationship-building skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) Knowledge of chemical or scientific terminology (or ability to learn quickly) Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with limited supervision Our Offer We provide a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance (effective after 60 days) 401(k) with safe-harbor contribution Paid Time Off starting on day one 9 company-paid holidays annually Free 24-hour access to our on-site fitness center Ongoing training, development, and career growth opportunities Equal Opportunity Employer Jost Chemical Company is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce.
