This role demands a dynamic individual who can drive sales, manage inventory, and ensure an exceptional customer experience while maintaining profitability and efficiency. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the used car department, including inventory control and vehicle merchandising. Lead, train, and motivate the used car sales team to meet or exceed sales goals. Develop and implement strategies to increase used car sales and gross profit. Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Work closely with the new car sales team, service department, and finance team to promote overall dealership success. Oversee appraisal and purchasing processes for trade-in vehicles. Ensure compliance with all state laws, regulations, and company policies. Requirements Proven experience as a Used Car Manager or in a related automotive sales management role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Knowledge of inventory management and vehicle acquisition strategies. Ability to analyze sales reports and market trends to optimize performance. Familiarity with automotive financing and regulatory requirements is a plus.
