In this role, you will help manage the day-to-day care, organization, and preparation of our used truck inventory. From inspecting incoming trucks and coordinating reconditioning work to maintaining the lot and preparing trucks for sale and delivery, you will play an important part in keeping our inventory customer-ready. If you have basic mechanical knowledge, strong attention to detail, and enjoy working around commercial trucks and equipment, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Receive and inspect incoming used truck inventory and document vehicle condition Identify mechanical, cosmetic, and electrical issues that may require attention Help develop and follow reconditioning plans for incoming trucks Coordinate repairs, detailing, and cosmetic touch-ups with the Used Truck and Service departments Track trucks through the repair and reconditioning process Wash, detail, inspect, and prepare trucks for sale and customer delivery Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable used truck inventory lot Start, exercise, and visually inspect inventory trucks weekly to identify battery, fluid, tire, or other potential issues Maintain the Used Truck Department service bay, tools, and electronics Move and deliver trucks between Empire Truck Sales locations and to customers as needed Assist with new truck deliveries when needed Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles driven Follow dealership safety procedures and applicable

requirements Complete required Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) training and continuing education Provide additional support to the Used Truck Sales team as needed What We're Looking For Valid Class A or Class B CDL, as required for moving trucks between locations and completing deliveries Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to recognize common truck issues Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Dependable, self-motivated approach to daily responsibilities Ability to safely operate commercial motor vehicles Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs. Ability to frequently climb in and out of truck cabs and work around vehicles Ability to travel to other Empire Truck Sales locations as needed, including occasional overnight travel Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of required PPE Why Join Empire Truck Sales?
