The BDR is the growth engine for PureGreen's Wilmington operation. You'll be the face of the brand in the market — prospecting, pitching, closing, and onboarding new commercial maintenance clients. This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on revenue and a clear path forward for the right person.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
New Business Development Prospect and engage commercial clients — property managers, HOAs, developers, and facility directors Drive pipeline through cold calls, in-person visits, and targeted outreach Monitor new developments and construction projects for emerging opportunities Represent PureGreen at local networking events and industry gatherings Sales Process & Pipeline Management Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to signed contract Maintain a disciplined CRM with consistent tracking of outreach, follow-ups, and proposals Partner with estimating and operations teams to build competitive proposals Consistently meet or exceed activity-based and revenue KPIs Client Onboarding & Growth Serve as primary contact for new clients during onboarding Ensure smooth transition to operations while maintaining early client satisfaction Identify upsell and additional service opportunities within your book of business Team Collaboration Partner with the Sales Manager on territory planning and market strategy Coordinate with Account Managers and Branch Managers on service quality and retention Actively contribute team knowledge on market activity and competitor intelWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
2+ years in sales or business development (landscaping, property management, or facilities a plus) A self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what to do Strong communicator who builds rapport quickly and follows through Organized and disciplined with CRM usage, KPI tracking, and pipeline hygiene Comfortable working independently and traveling throughout the Wilmington area Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred — not requiredWHY PUREGREEN
