In-Home Sales Consultant Location:

Window Works Co. is looking for an experienced In-Home Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This is a sales-focused role for someone who already understands windows, doors, in-home presentations, and consultative closing. You will meet with homeowners, assess their needs, present solutions, quote projects on site, and help customers choose the right products for their home and budget. This is not a door-knocking role and not a project management role. Window Works provides company-vetted leads, professional sales tools, a local service area, and a dedicated team that takes over once the sale is closed. You sell, we handle the rest. Key Responsibilities Run in-home consultations for homeowners replacing windows and doors across the Triangle. Present product options, explain features and benefits, and guide customers through a professional sales process. Take basic measurements and gather project details needed to prepare accurate quotes. Quote projects on site using company-provided tools and technology. Close sales in the home when possible and continue nurturing customers who need additional follow-up. Invite customers to the showroom when helpful and share company-produced resources to support the decision-making process. Maintain clean, accurate pipeline notes and follow-up activity in the CRM. Coordinate a smooth handoff to the internal project management team after the contract is signed. Build your own pipeline in addition to working company-provided leads, with higher commission opportunities for self-sourced business. Represent Window Works Co. with professionalism, confidence, and a customer-first approach. Qualifications Minimum of 2+ years of window and door sales experience required. Proven in-home consultative sales experience, including presenting and closing projects during customer appointments when appropriate. Working knowledge of windows, doors, measuring basics, product options, and construction projects. Comfortable using technology, including CRM systems, tablet-based presentations, digital quoting tools, and job documentation apps. Consultative, low-pressure sales style that aligns with how Window Works serves homeowners. Strong communication, organization, follow-up, and closing skills. Self-motivated and accountable, with the ability to manage a sales pipeline independently. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the assigned service territory. Must be local to the Cary/Raleigh-Durham Triangle area or able to reliably service the local territory. Pay and Benefits Full-time position, W-2 Employment Base salary of $20,000 per year plus uncapped commission. On-target earnings of $230,000+ may be achievable for high-performing sales consultants based on individual sales results and commission earnings. Earnings are not guaranteed.
Company-provided leads:
8% commission on volume up to $2M; 10% commission above $2M.
Self-sourced leads:
10% commission on volume up to $2M; 13% commission above $2M. Commission is paid according to company commission policies and completed sales transactions.
