We are looking for a driven, community-connected Business Development professional who already knows this industry and is ready to build something meaningful in one of the fastest-growing markets in the country. About the Role As our Home Care Community Liaison, you will be the face of Home Matters Caregiving in the greater Wilmington area. You will grow and manage our referral network, build relationships with healthcare professionals, and help families find the care they need. This is a relationship-based, field-forward role — you will be known in every hospital corridor, discharge planning office, and senior living community in this region. What You Will Do Build and maintain a high-value referral network including hospitals, rehab centers, discharge planners, assisted living communities, geriatric care managers, and physicians Conduct 30-40+ strategic, face-to-face professional visits each week across New Hanover, Brunswick, and Pender counties Break into competitor accounts and convert them into long-term referral partners Develop and execute a data-driven 90-day referral growth plan; track results and adjust strategy Assist with initial family consultations to ensure a confident, smooth start of care Partner with the team on local reputation management, Google Reviews outreach, and community presence Who You Are 2+ years in non-medical, private duty home care business development, sales, or marketing — this is non-negotiable Deep understanding of home care referral sources, payer dynamics, and care coordination Proven track record of territory growth and consistent referral generation in a competitive market Self-starter who does not wait to be told to make calls or show up Empathetic and persuasive — you build trust quickly with healthcare professionals and families Comfortable with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and Microsoft Office Polished, professional, and reliable in every interaction Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Compensation and Benefits Base Salary:
$65,000-$85,000 based on experience
Commission:
