Job Description

Inside Sales Representative Location:
Charlotte, NC 28273
Compensation:
$55,000/yr. base salary + uncapped commission potential A fast-growing Charlotte-based startup in the plant-based wellness space with premium kratom and kava products is seeking a high-energy Inside Sales Representative to accelerate revenue growth. In this role, you will leverage outbound calls and digital outreach to build relationships, uncover customer needs, and close sales with confidence. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and excels at consultative selling, relationship building, and delivering results. Responsibilities
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, objection handling, and closing.
  • Making daily outbound cold calls to retailers in the kratom and kava wellness category; average 70-100 dials a day, aiming for 5-10 meaningful conversations resulting in sales.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with wholesale partners.
  • Educate store owners on high-margin, best-selling products and value proposition.
  • Guide retailers to identify the right product mix to maximize their revenue.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries via phone, email, and digital channels.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and pipeline activity in CRM; consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Stay informed on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Facilitate consistent revenue generation and repeat customer growth.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and become a trusted advisor to retailers.
Must-have qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of Inside sales, B2B sales, or high-volume cold calling experience.
  • CRM proficiency with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar system.
  • Strong communication skills across phone and email.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and results oriented.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
