Job Description

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth and Danone brand presence within an assigned territory by engaging customers, performing sales and merchandising activities, while building strong relationships. This role focuses on achieving dynamic sales targets, increasing product distribution, supporting and maintaining promotional and display presence and delivering positive customer experience in a field-based environment. What You'll Do:
  • Drive sales performance by promoting and selling consumer packaged goods (CPG) products and merchandising within assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, store personnel and client stakeholders to drive in store sales growth.
  • Execute merchandising standards including displays and promotions.
  • Participate in in-store sales events and promotional events.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and expand product distribution.
  • Manage assigned territory through effective routing and prioritization.
  • Communicate sales performance insights to internal teams and clients.
  • Complete reporting and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and merchandising standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products sold and new product launches.
  • Keep management informed of store issues, competitive activity, and market trends.
  • Ensure full product distribution and display in all assigned accounts.
  • Document and report activities, including sales results, merchandising, and store observations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be comfortable using a smart device with multiple apps.
  • Ability to work independently under remote supervision with integrity and professionalism.
  • Physical ability to occasionally lift 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel to multiple stores in a territory.
  • Must be willing to transport required materials.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: outside sales, CPG industry, retail or field sales, and/or territory/route sales & merchandising.
  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills are required.
