Primary Purpose of this Job The primary purpose of this job is to manage the on-going working relationship with ATISM customers while managing the day-to-day functions of their Inside Sales Team. Interface with internal and external customers at all levels while managing accounts and requests from inception to completion. Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned) Enter, book, audit, acknowledge, amend and log quotes and orders. Manage backlog and report status to customers. Coordinate customer requests internally and externally (ie. recert requests, surveys, etc.). Manage and leverage customer relationships to maintain and grow. Handle account / invoice discrepancies and complaints. Gather and share market information (for and through Product Mgmt, Field Sales, pricing, etc.). Track shipments / provide shipping documents to customers. Manage long and short-term agreements Support customer meetings/reviews Work directly with customers to improve customer scorecards Actively engages in Continuous Improvement projects Manage the Inside Sales team: Responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the team, providing guidance and coaching, being a team advocate, and monitoring progress towards meeting goals.
Conduct Inside Sales training:
Responsible for conducting sales training for new and existing team members. This includes training on procedures, product knowledge, objection handling, customer service skills, and ensuring compliance to our
T.I. SOE
documents.
Manage customer relationships:
Responsible for managing customer relationships and ensuring that customer needs are met, which includes responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and building long-term relationships with customers.
Collaborate with other teams:
Responsible for supporting the Inside Sales team and collaboration with other teams such as Business Development, Engineering, Product Management, and Supply Chain to align with business initiatives.
Support continuous improvement activities:
Responsible for leading and participating in team-based, cross-functional continuous improvement activities such as Problem-Solving Reports, Inside Sales audits, ATI-U testing, Quote Dashboard, and Safety Check.
Provide coverage:
Responsible for covering any gaps in vacation and month-end support.
Support new hire orientation:
Responsible for supporting the new hire orientation process and introducing the new employees to ATI SM's materials, markets, locations, and capabilities.
Facilitate/Assist Inside Sales communication:
Responsible for facilitating/assisting with communication to the Inside Sales team to keep the team informed of hot topics, issues, changes, action items, or new processes (WGO meeting).
Support Management:
Responsible for supporting Management activities that include attending sales calls, DMBs (Daily Management Board) meetings, participate in interview panels, and business reporting initiatives (Quarterly Market Summary, Shipping Plan Reason, Inside Sales Presentations).
Monitor/Review workloads:
Responsible for creating plans and providing feedback for account transitions, account backups and annual department goals.
Attend all contract reviews:
Responsible for participating in all long-term agreement (LTA) contract review meetings, actively engaging with questions/concerns, and understand all price pages.
Support audits:
Responsible for supporting all internal audit boards.
