Job Description

In business since 2003, Tick Performance, Inc. is a long tenured, quickly growing GM LTx and LSx performance specialist located in Mount Airy, NC, about 90 minutes north of Charlotte. Full-Time Sales Consultant Tick Performance is expanding their Sales Consultant division and we have an immediate opening available for a motivated salesperson with interest in the performance industry. Mostly Domestic GM/Ford/Mopar but also open for all other applications. Any potential applicant should have the following: Working knowledge of the performance industry with a concentration on LS engine platform & related vehicles. Prior sales experience preferred but not required. Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multi-task. Must be a driven individual that works hard and is detail-oriented and self motivated. Able to assist customers, make parts recommendations, complete the sale and follow up is a most. Must be able to handle high call volume and maintain a professional business etiquette. All of our sales are phone and internet-based mostly, and you must be able to work efficiently, take phone orders, answer emails, and complete orders through our software. We will have certain trade shows throughout the year that we will attend as well. The ideal candidate does not have to know everything but will be expected to learn quickly so they can assist the customer proficiently. There will be a short quiz sent to applicants prior to the interview process. Our current sales staff each take in 100-180k in sales per month average. The position is commission-based, however, we will offer a flat hourly rate between $17 - $20 per hour for this new hire for the first 45 days. This pay structure shows we are serious about the position and allows a potentially hesitant salesperson about having steady pay. After the 45 days the hourly rate decreases and the commission payout begins with the potential to earn up to 4%• commission with no cap. Commission structure goes from 2% - 4% on a step progression chart with no cap.
