About the Job The Sales Development organization plays a critical role in driving Brightly's top-of-funnel growth, generating pipeline across key vertical markets and building the foundation for long-term revenue expansion. Our SDR teams operate with vertical focus and a consultative approach, engaging decision-makers within target accounts across our core industries. The Team Lead is a hybrid individual contributor and frontline coaching role within the Sales Development organization. This position is designed for experienced, high-performing SDR professionals who demonstrate consistent quota attainment, strong outbound execution, and the ability to develop and support the performance of their peers. In this role, you will maintain an active individual prospecting responsibility while serving as an embedded coaching resource for SDR team members within an assigned vertical. This newly created role reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Sales Development and works in close partnership with the broader SDR leadership team. What you will do Provide real-time floor mentoring on prospecting strategy, call execution, messaging, and objection handling Reinforce outbound cadence execution and sequence quality across the assigned vertical Support SDR onboarding activities and contribute to the accelerated ramp of new team members Serve as the vertical subject matter expert on target personas, pain points, and buyer dynamics Maintain an active individual outbound pipeline and meet a monthly SAO target of 5 Communicate field insights, coaching observations, and operational feedback to the Sr. Manager, Sales Development Model execution standards, activity expectations, and professional conduct for the broader team Provide operational support and additional leadership coverage during high-volume periods as needed What you need Minimum of 12 months of SDR experience, currently performing at a Senior SDR level or equivalent Proof of consistent quota attainment Proven track record of top-tier activity metrics across calls, sequences, and pipeline contribution Strong outbound prospecting skills with command of sequencing, objection handling, and vertical messaging Effective written and verbal communication skills What makes you a Standout Prior experience informally mentoring or coaching SDR peers Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and peer credibility Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance individual and team-facing responsibilities concurrently The Brightly culture We're guided by a vision of community that serves the ambitions and wellbeing of all people, and our professional communities are no exception. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
