A Sales Support Specialist works as part of a sales team to provide support to sales representatives and assist with customer service. Manages data used by a sales team. Reviews orders and customer requests, and works to resolve customer issues related to sales. May research and develop leads for sales.
Every deal passes through the Sales Support Specialist. This is the position that makes sure the paperwork is right, the file is complete, the deal funds on time, and nothing falls through a crack between the sales floor and the business office. It is a support role with real ownership. You will not manage people. You will be trusted to hold the process to a standard — and to speak up when something is not ready to move forward.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Documentation & Compliance Review and process finance contracts, purchase paperwork, and legal documents for accuracy and completeness Prepare and package complete deal folders for review Generate sales contracts accurately Verify every deal against dealership, lender, state, federal, and DMV requirements Identify and resolve errors in submitted paperwork, and coordinate corrections with the business office Funding & Deal Flow Track deals in progress and keep them moving through to funding Coordinate document flow between the sales floor, the business office, and our lenders so deals fund on time Support the Team Leader with lender remittance and deal administration Follow-Up & Guest Records Work our CRM to make sure guest follow-up is happening, documented correctly, and on time Handle direct follow-up and anniversary-of-purchase calls Help keep our guest, repeat, and referral network active Guest & Delivery Support Back up our Product Specialists with guests, including test drives Prepare documents and materials for off-site and home deliveries Make sure vehicles and delivery materials are ready and well presented Assist with the final handoff Merchandising & Marketing Support Support digital listings, promotions, photography, signage, and lot presentation Assist with social media and seasonal or event-based campaigns Team Coordination & Cross-Training Keep the department aligned on deadlines and outstanding items Cross-train to help where needed — covering the front desk, running documents, and general office support
