Field Sales Representative Ulterra Drilling Technologies, LP company vehicle United States, North Dakota, Williston 13962 West Front Street (Show on map) Sep 09, 2026 The Field Sales Representative is responsible for professionally representing Ulterra ethically and professionally at the field level, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting revenue growth and market share expansion. This position is on-call 24/7 and requires the ability to build lasting relationships, capture critical performance data, and identify new business opportunities. The Field Sales Representative acts as the primary interface between Ulterra and its customers at the wellsite, supporting internal teams with accurate, real-time feedback and insights.

Detailed Description:

Call on all rigs in assigned area with consistency and professionalism. Customer Service and ability to build relationships is a main priority.

Follow all safety procedures at all times.

Dress in a professional manner as directed by management. This includes facial hair requirements and restrictions.

Account for 100% of inventory at all times through all implemented documentation and procedures.

Achieve a minimum of 95% bit record collection monthly with accuracy and quality standards met.

Have all required reports (daily reports, expense reports, vehicle inspection reports, revenue flashes, and all other requested reports) completed and returned by deadlines with quality standards met.

Maintain a safe and clean company vehicle at all times. Employees are responsible for timely routine maintenance.

Have a strong understanding of your field's market conditions at all times (customer relationships, rig count, total market ($), market share ($), market share (%), all performance information, drilling conditions, drilling variables, future activity, etc).

Open communication with Sales Supers, Applications Engineers, Account Reps, and District Manager daily.

Continually learn about the applications in your area, our product, how to properly apply what you know and have learned.

Other responsibilities as required.

Job Requirements:

Strong written and oral communication skills, including public speaking.

Intermediate reading, writing, and computer literacy.

Familiarity with modern mobile applications and social platforms.

Highly organized, with effective time management and prioritization skills.

Ability to receive and follow instructions, with a collaborative and coachable mindset.

Professional demeanor and a positive attitude with strong team orientation.

Basic computer skills with the ability to advance to an intermediate level

Must be able to bend, stoop, sit, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Requires both near and far visual acuity, manual dexterity, and the ability to communicate clearly.

Regular exposure to field environments with varying conditions.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.

1+ years of relevant experience in field sales or related oilfield experience.

Must have a state-issued driver's license and be eligible to drive a Company vehicle, including ability to meet requirements of Company's Vehicle Use Agreement and Driving Policy.

Additional Details:

The Field Sales Representative must work with an emphasis on safety for themselves and others including coworkers and third parties. The typical work environment will be in the shop or field which will require exposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noise, working near moving mechanical parts, electrical energy, construction equipment, vibration, fumes, chemicals, and airborne particles.
