THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Project Consultant, you will meet with homeowners who have already expressed interest in improving their homes. Your job is simple in theory, demanding in practice: Understand the homeowner's needs Educate them on the right solution Present a professional, consultative proposal Close the project with integrity You will run in-home appointments in a one-call-close environment, with volume increasing as you progress through training and into full production. Success is measured by:
Net sales revenue Estimating accuracy and pricing discipline Documentation quality Adherence to company sales systems and standards
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Run scheduled, qualified in-home sales appointments Deliver consultative, professional presentations Close projects in a one-call-close environment Accurately estimate project scope and pricing Collect deposits and complete all required documentation Manage your pipeline and follow-ups as directed Travel throughout New Jersey to meet homeowners Attend weekly sales meetings, training, and coaching Continuously refine your craft Requirements Prior in-home sales experience preferred (home improvement, roofing, windows, siding, HVAC, or similar) Willingness to work evenings and weekends based on homeowner availability Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong presentation and communication skills High emotional resilience and personal accountability Comfort in a commission-driven environment Must be reachable for reasonable communications due to the nature of the role Comfortable working around job sites (no climbing on roofs or elevated structures) Benefits
COMPENSATION
$120,000 - $250,000+ annually (performance-based) Earnings are performance-based and directly tied to production, pricing discipline, and system adherence. Top performers earn at the highest levels in the industry. This is a performance-driven, commission-based role with a structured onboarding period and performance incentives. Project Consultants earn commission on their own sales, along with additional performance bonuses and incentives based on production and results.
Compensation includes:
Uncapped, industry-leading commission on closed projects Additional incentives tied to performance Structured onboarding pay during the initial training period Opportunities for additional bonuses and rewards Earnings are directly tied to performance, production, and pricing discipline. Top performers in this role earn at the highest levels within the industry. Full compensation details are provided during the interview process and outlined in the Employment Agreement.
