We are looking for someone to come in 3 hours/day during our working hours (9-5, M-F). Job Overview Peyton Webster Carpet & Rugs is seeking a highly organized, personable, and self-directed Sales & Showroom Coordinator to support our growing home design business. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys interiors and design, has good communication skills, and loves an organized space. This role oversees our showroom, ensures a welcoming and engaging environment for our clients, and supports the account manager with sampling.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Support Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email Schedule showroom visits and in-home/site appointments Coordinate sample pick-ups and drop-offs Follow up with leads and keep sample orders organized Gain knowledge of product offerings and industry trends Assist the Account Manager as needed Showroom & Administrative Support Welcome walk-in customers and maintain a clean, organized showroom space Learn sample inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stock organization; and fulfilling client sample requests Capture activities with videos and photos for social media posting; and collaborate with marketing to promote showroom events and special promotions. Assist with scheduling and internal calendars
Qualifications:
Friendly, clear communicator—both verbally and in writing Customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients Detail-oriented and organized Tech-savvy Interest in design, interiors, or home improvement a big bonus Prior experience in the interior design environment, or a client-facing, or administrative role preferred Read this all the way through?
