Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Support (ISS) team is a vital part of the national sales infrastructure, providing administrative, operational, and strategic support to streamline the sales process and enhance customer satisfaction. This role supports field sales, District Sales Managers (DSMs) internal teams by managing claims, coordinating special pricing, processing sample orders, and resolving cross-functional issues. The ISS team ensures timely and accurate execution of sales-related tasks, contributing to long-term customer retention and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Claims Management Handle ad-hoc claims including billing errors, product returns, freight charges, and shipping support. Submit claims for price discrepancies, damage allowances, trade terms, and sell-out MDF requests. Collaborate with AR to resolve tax issues and provide credit note documentation. Sales Support Manage special pricing requests. Create and revise opportunities to generate quotes and coordinate with internal teams for processing. Submit project revisions and manage account team mapping and ownership changes. Review and update project opportunities to align with current purchase orders, and conduct outreach to quoted deals for status updates. Collaborate daily with DSMs to ensure pipeline accuracy and visibility. Submit requests for special pricing, model substitutions, new accounts, promotions, and orders not auto-loaded. Internal Systems Serve as the single point of contact for system training and support. Guide accounts through login setup and system navigation, providing training materials and ongoing assistance. Sample Order Processing Assist with non-returnable sample order entry in the portal. Coordinate with supply chain management for stock status and logistics for shipping. Account Support Aggregate internal pricing into account-specific formats. Manage PO error submissions, quarterly spiff updates, sample order requests, and claim submissions. Cross-Functional Issue Management Collaborate across departments to resolve customer issues related to orders, pricing, claims, and accounts. Ensure standardized and efficient problem resolution processes.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field preferred. o Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous, cross-functional environment.
Experience:
2-4 years in sales support, customer service, or operations; experience in national or regional sales environments preferred.
Skills & Attributes:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel proficiency is critical . Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). Familiarity with consumer home appliances, dealer networks, builder programs, and B2B sales environments. Ability to manage complex workflows and prioritize tasks. Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
