In this role, you will support our B2B SaaS sales organization by generating qualified pipeline leads, engaging prospective customers, assessing fit, and handing off sales-ready opportunities to the appropriate sales team members. This position plays a critical role in building top-of-funnel momentum and contributing to predictable revenue growth. Job Details
  • Generate new business opportunities through outreach, inbound follow-up, referrals, networking, and in-person interactions, as applicable.
  • Research target accounts and prospects to identify decision-makers, understand business needs, and personalize outreach efforts.
  • Qualify leads and early-stage opportunities based on defined criteria to determine fit, interest, timing, and potential value.
  • Schedule and coordinate discovery calls, product conversations, or introductory meetings for the sales team, ensuring complete and accurate handoff notes.
  • Build and maintain strong prospect and customer relationships to support trust, repeat business, and long-term growth opportunities.
  • Track sales activity, prospect engagement, customer interactions, and follow-up tasks using CRM tools, including a home-grown CRM, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
  • Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, outreach efforts, contact updates, and meeting outcomes to support forecasting and reporting.
  • Work alongside Sales Management on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to review activity levels, monitor sales goals, and improve conversion performance.
  • Deliver clear and confident presentations, respond to common objections, and communicate the company's value proposition effectively.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, customer preferences, and industry developments to continuously improve outreach and qualification effectiveness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and leadership teams to ensure alignment on lead quality, messaging, and follow-up strategy.
  • Consistently meet or exceed activity, meeting-setting, and pipeline contribution goals established for the role.
Attend conference/trade shows for networking opportunities to promote brand. Travel will be required. Comply with corporate policies and handbooks. May require travel, may require long period of time at a computer and other physical activities. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Assist with other duties assigned as required to achieve company's mission. Provide superior customer service. Report to the VP of Sales, Sales Manager, or equivalent Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, business development, or a related customer-facing role is a plus but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with prospects and customers.
  • Goal-driven mindset with a strong desire to meet and exceed performance targets.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with a high level of activity and follow-through.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple conversations and follow-up tasks across phone, email, social, and CRM systems.
  • Coachability, resilience, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a metric-driven sales environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales engagement tools, and standard business software is preferred.
