This position is responsible for coordinating group bookings, meetings, social events, and administrative sales functions while ensuring exceptional service for our clients from initial booking through event completion. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Marriott experience is preferred. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the Sales, Catering, and Events teams. Prepare proposals, contracts, banquet event orders (BEOs), group resumes, and event documentation. Coordinate meetings, conferences, weddings, social events, and group room blocks. Manage group rooming lists, reservations, billing instructions, and client correspondence. Conduct site tours and assist with client appointments. Communicate event details with Banquets, Culinary, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other hotel departments to ensure flawless execution. Monitor group pickup, room blocks, deposits, and event timelines. Respond promptly to sales inquiries and assist with lead management through Marriott and Cvent platforms. Maintain accurate client records in Marriott sales systems. Assist with weekly sales meetings, event planning meetings, forecasts, and production reports. Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after each event. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of hotel sales, catering, event planning, or hospitality experience preferred. Experience with Marriott CI/TY, Cvent, and Microsoft Office is strongly preferred. Experience with Marriott sales and catering systems such as Delphi is a plus. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude. Preferred Qualifications Marriott hotel experience. Experience coordinating weddings, corporate meetings, and social events. Knowledge of banquet operations and event planning processes. Familiarity with Marriott brand standards and group sales procedures. What We're Looking For Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
