The successful candidate will also effectively sell the company's products and/or related services and secure new business accounts/customers from our location in Thorofare, NJ.

Duties:

• Support services and quotes developed for our outside sales representatives
• Establish, develop, and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in order to generate new business
• Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
• Educate customers about terminology, features, and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction.
• Identify advantages and compare our organization's products/services.
• Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations.
• Process purchase orders and requests for quotations.
• Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to shipment dates and expected dates of delivery.
• Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.

Education and experience:

Must have 2-3 years of experience in commercial sales is preferred. Industry experience is a plus! Must demonstrate aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers. Must have attention to detail skillset, be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment. Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (word, excel, and PowerPoint )and contact management software.
