Job Summary As an Inside Sales Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the sales process. Your primary responsibility will be to support the inside and outside sales teams by providing administrative assistance, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring that customers receive timely and accurate information. This role involves a strong focus on customer service, organization, and communication to help streamline sales operations and enhance customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and collaborate effectively across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the sales team, including managing customer inquiries, preparing quotes, preparing sales proposals and preparing bid submissions. Act as a secondary point of contact for customers, providing product information and answering questions about services. Coordinate with internal departments such as operations, marketing, and finance to ensure customer needs are met and orders are processed efficiently. Assist with customer follow-up and maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM system. Prepare and send proposals and other necessary documentation to customers in a timely manner. Help sales representatives by preparing sales reports, tracking key performance metrics, and updating customer information. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Thor Performance Products' offerings to assist in responding to customer questions and inquiries. Perform other sales support duties as assigned, ensuring the overall success of the sales team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in a sales support or administrative role, preferably within a customer-facing industry. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) is a plus. Detail-oriented with the ability to handle sensitive customer information. A collaborative team player who can work across departments to ensure the smooth operation of sales processes. Associate degree or higher in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred Why Join Us?
