Job description AGL Welding Supply Co. is a regional Leading Distributor of Specialty, Medical and Industrial gases in the NY/NJ metro area. A family owned business since 1920, AGL strives to exceed customer's expectations with excellent customer service. AGL is looking for a Full-time Counter and Storefront Sales Representative to assist walk-in customers in finding the right products for their specific needs.

Responsibilities:

Serve walk-in customers and assess customers' needs Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability and product uses Field incoming calls Assist in placing and processing orders via phone, e-mail or in person Receive and resolve customer inquiries and complaints ensuring customer satisfaction Follow-up quotations to obtain orders Support sales representatives' efforts to obtain and/or maintain customers. Exchange gas cylinders with walk in customers. Checking trucks in and out. Assist drivers load and unload trailer and trucks. Comply with DOT and OSHA regulations Perform other projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Possess excellent attitude Possess the ability to learn and retain detailed product information and ability to creatively apply the knowledge to deliver solutions to our customers' unique needs Detail-oriented Excellent communication skills, with focus on customer service Strong computer skills Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
