Position PurposeThe Home Depot Territory Sales Representative is responsible for increasing market share and awareness of cabinetry products within the assigned sales territory. This role works exclusively with Home Depot stores in the Hudson Valley, New York area.
AccountabilitiesMeeting or exceeding all sales targets assigned to the position while increasing market shareExecute sales calls at Home Depot stores in assigned territoryDrive sales and marketing initiatives in the field to launchTrain designers at Home Depot locationsTeach and coach the store designer on how to pitch the sale or improve the layouts of the cabinets on their design system to secure the saleDevelop territory and store-level strategy to increase market shareGain understanding and insight of customer and consumer needs by direct interaction with consumersManage conflict, customer and consumer communication and follow-up needs through direct influence and relationship building with designers and interaction with the customer/contractors who in the store shopping for cabinetsMaintain and update store displays, marketing materials and execute new program initiativesCharacteristics & AttributesWorks well independently and in a collaborative settingOutgoing, driven personality with excellent interpersonal skillsStrong consultative sales styleStrong organizational skills with the ability to complete work thoroughlyThis position will require occasional overnight travel for sales trainings/meetingsEducation, Skills & Experience1-3 years of outside sales or kitchen/bath design experience in the Home Center or Dealer environmentKnowledge of all working areas of a kitchen or bath projectModular cabinet design experience2020 Design software expertise, preferredBenefits Package IncludesCompetitive CompensationHealth Care BenefitsPaid HolidaysPaid Vacation DaysPaid Sick Days401(k) Retirement Savings Plan & Profit SharingTuition AssistancePet InsuranceAdditional Voluntary benefits AvailableRelocation Assistance (for select roles)Physical Demands/Working ConditionsPhysical DemandsStationary Position
