Job Description

Outside Sales/Route Distribution Professional We are looking to fill 4 new spots in our local meat and seafood distribution center. Our outside sales position is for people that work well in a team environment and are self-motivated. Our outside salespeople have unparalleled freedom and tremendous earnings potential. We are one of the nations largest wholesalers of gourmet pre-packaged steak, seafood and pork products. What we do is also fun and easy to learn. With prior sales experience, you could potentially skip a lot of the training, depending on your sales aptitude, and get right to servicing and opening new accounts. If you have little or no experience, we are always willing to teach a qualified self-starter how to succeed in the sales industry. Some of our most successful route sales drivers had little to no sales experience upon hiring. When you meet with a director in your first interview , that could be determined. "Our niche is saving our clients money on things they're already purchasing. In this day and age, the savings benefit has become a make or break in our market. Since the covid 19 pandemic, our business has gone up by 371% in this local market. Our goal is 25% to 37% savings for our customers compared to typical market prices. Still leaving plenty of room for our margins and paying our salespeople large commissions. We are able to do that by our packaging process and our sheer volume we drive yearly. We deliver a superior product at marginal prices, this works well for everybody. Our product is food, something that is bought and sold by everybody daily". That gives our sales reps a strong advantage over our competition. Also, food delivery to your place of residence is common practice in today fast paced society. Studies show most families have up to 67% of all their consumable products delivered in 2024 versus 27% in 2016 less than a decade ago. We are only looking for full-time workers to join our team. Upon hiring, you're signed on immediately and enrolled into our "3 day " training program. You will be taught everything you need to know to get started. You will be shown how to service accounts, open new accounts, our complete product line ,
  • and the pricing structures. After 3 days ,
  • when the initial training is complete, we provide new outside sales reps with a company vehicle and all the tools necessary to get started.
Although you will be active in the field immediately, our sales support network is extended for your whole career. Like in anything new there's a 1-3 week learning curve. After you're through the learning curve , a new rep will be fully acclimated and well-versed in the business. Once your fully acclimated and comfortable the earnings are very handsome and then the sky is the limit as an employee. All of our supervisors and senior management are hired from within the sales force as a rule set by the company founders. Our owner- operated company was started by two sales reps who are currently still connected to the day to day operations and have been for the last 16 years. The founders have found success by playing a key role in training and motivating new outside sales reps. They believe in their Sales force and are confident that their own sales ability has been the main component to the company's success.
