Job Description

Overview Responsible for public relations and business development activities. Maintain positive image in the community and promote our Company through involvement in community activities. Able to establish strong working relationships and networks with centers of influence throughout the community to enable referrals and growth opportunities in the market. Responsibilities Actively pursue further penetration of the Company's market by performing various duties of which the following are illustrative: Make business development public relations calls on present and prospective customers to maintain present business and approved Company relationships with division leaders. Research new market opportunities from the perspective of geography, technology, service/products. Maintain active community involvement in order to project a positive image of the Company and support business development activities. May coordinate branch marketing activities for services. Establish and maintain relationships with business partners across the Company. Assume responsibility of the office in absence of manager or directed by manager as follows: Ensure that the office is properly staffed and that the staff is trained to meet customer service needs as well as sales objectives. Make certain that all office operations are performed in accordance with established Company policies and procedures, either directly or through appropriate supervisor. Serve as an active member of the office team by providing direct customer services as required. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in a related field. Minimum of five (5) years' experience in related positions. Specialized banking education and training. A thorough knowledge of key issues facing the banking industry. Demonstrated management and supervisory skills. Proficiency in business development activity knowledge of market. Proficient interpersonal relations, communicative, and sales skills. Knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures for all deposit and lending products.
