This role focuses on building long-term partnerships with commercial clients by understanding their pest management needs, delivering tailored service solutions, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The consultant acts as a trusted advisor to clients while contributing to the company's overall market expansion and profitability goals. Business Development Identify and prospect new commercial clients within targeted industries (e.g., food processing, hospitality, healthcare, property management, warehousing, etc). Generate new sales through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and lead follow-up. Conduct on-site inspections to assess pest risks and develop customized service proposals. Present pest management solutions aligned with regulatory compliance and client operational needs. Sales Execution Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals. Negotiate pricing, service terms, and contract agreements. Close new business while maintaining strong profit margins. Maintain accurate pipeline management within CRM systems. Achieve recurring revenue quota and maintain required appointment activity Client Relationship Management Build and maintain long-term relationships with key commercial clients. Conduct regular account reviews to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Address client concerns and coordinate with operations teams to ensure service excellence. Provide field insights to strengthen sales strategy Market & Territory Management Develop and execute territory sales plans to meet revenue targets. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry regulations. Prioritize high-value prospects and key accounts. Pipeline Management Submit consistent reporting on weekly activities, pipeline stage progress, and outcomes Track sales metrics and adjust activity levels as needed to meet goals Participate in coaching sessions, team meetings, and strategy discussions Performance Expectations Revenue Growth Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets. Generate consistent new business revenue from commercial clients. Maintain a healthy and active sales pipeline Secure a defined number of new commercial accounts per quarter. Successfully convert qualified leads into contracted service agreements. Sell services that meet or exceed company margin expectations. Structure proposals that balance competitiveness with profitability. Maintain strong client relationships that support long-term retention. Identify opportunities for additional services within existing accounts. Maintain consistent prospecting activity (calls, meetings, site visits). Conduct a defined number of weekly client visits and sales presentations. Ensure smooth transition from sales to service teams. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in CRM systems.
