This role is currently based in Akron, OH. The office will be relocating to Hudson, OH, so candidates should be able to commute to the Hudson location long-term. About Microbrand Microbrand builds and scales branded products with content creators who have engaged, loyal audiences — across tools, outdoor, home, lifestyle, and beyond. Here's how it works: the creator lends their name and credibility, we handle product development, manufacturing, fulfillment, and store operations, and we amplify everything with paid advertising. We're stepping on the gas this summer — and we want a sharp, hungry student to help us bring new creators into the pipeline. Examples Perkins Builder Belt (perkinsbuilderbelt.com) is a pro tool belt designed by home-builder creators Erik & Jaime Perkins that we build, fulfill, and advertise. RR Buildings (rrbtools.com) is builder Kyle Stumpenhorst's tool belt brand. Take a look at both to see exactly the kind of brand you'd be pitching creators to build. The Role This is a real, full-time summer role. You'll spend your days doing one thing well: bringing new content creators into the Microbrand pipeline. That means finding them, pitching them, and moving them through onboarding toward a signed agreement. You'll own a pipeline, run real outbound outreach, and have measurable impact by the end of the summer. We train you on our model, our categories, and our pitch. You bring the energy, the curiosity, and a willingness to put yourself out there. What You'll Do Find and qualify creators — scan Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube for high-potential creators that fit our criteria (audience size, category fit, brand quality) Run outbound outreach — thoughtful, multi-channel (email, DMs, calls), meeting creators where they actually respond Pitch and onboard — pitch the Microbrand model and move creators through early-stage onboarding conversations toward a signed deal Run a clean pipeline — every conversation, stage, and follow-up tracked; nothing dropped Track the market — research competitor brands, creator-led products, and category trends; surface ideas to the marketing and sourcing teams Who We're Looking For Current college student or recent graduate available full-time this summer Driven, hungry, coachable — you love the chase and don't get rattled by "no" Strong written communicator; comfortable jumping on a call when it moves a conversation forward Highly organized; able to run your own pipeline and follow up relentlessly Studying business, marketing, communications, entrepreneurship, or similar is useful — but not required
