Position Summary Are you motivated, confident, and eager to build a long-term career in sales? The Outside Sales Representative generates revenue by developing relationships with prospective and existing customers through in-person meetings, product presentations, and consistent follow-up. This entry-level role is designed for a recent college graduate seeking to build a career in sales. The role focuses on learning the company's products, sales process, and customer needs while working toward individual sales goals. The Outside Sales Representative manages their schedule, maintains accurate CRM records, and provides responsive, professional customer support. Key Responsibilities
  • Territory Development o Identify and research prospective customers within an assigned geographic area o Schedule and conduct in-person or virtual meetings with potential clients o Support territory growth through consistent outreach and follow-up
  • Relationship Building o Build professional relationships through face-to-face meetings, calls, and email communication o Learn customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions o Provide responsive and courteous customer support
  • Sales Execution o Participate in product presentations and demonstrations o Assist in preparing quotes and proposals o Support negotiations and closing activities with guidance from sales leadership
  • Goal Achievement o Work toward monthly and annual sales activity and revenue goals o Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and opportunities
  • Reporting & Administration o Maintain accurate records of activities, contacts, and opportunities in CRM system o Manage calendar, travel schedule, and customer follow-ups o Provide regular updates on territory activity and sales progress
  • Learning & Development o Develop knowledge of company products, services, and value proposition o Learn industry terminology, customer needs, and competitive landscape o Participate in training, coaching, and ride-along opportunities Experience Required
  • Internship, campus leadership, customer service, or related experience helpful but not required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to manage multiple activities and priorities
  • Willingness to learn sales techniques and practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • PowerPoint and Excel required Education Required
  • Associate or bachelor's degree (bachelor's preferred) in business, sales, marketing, communications, or related field preferred Working Conditions
  • Mix of office-based work with regular travel
  • including air travel within the United States as required Benefits
  • Annual base compensation ranges from $55,000 to $65,000
