This position is responsible for responding to RFPs, coordinating group business, maintaining client relationships, generating new leads, preparing contracts and proposals, and ensuring a seamless experience for prospective and existing clients. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and driven to help increase hotel occupancy and revenue. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for hospitality and sales. 1. Support the sales team in prospecting new accounts and visiting new business opportunities. 2. Conduct sales calls, emails, and follow-up communication with prospective clients and conduct hotel client tours. 3. Create group blocks using Marriott PMS, sales agreements, create booking links, and maintain excellent professional relationships with clients and travel agents to capture more business and encourage repeat groups. 4. Respond to all proposals promptly and follow-up pending proposals to ensure business is captured. 5. Coordinate with colleagues to ensure group requests are being met. 6. At least 1 year of Marriott hotel experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate must have average computing skills, MS Office skills, and excellent professional communication skills.
