Job Description

Apply Rite, a leading roofing and repair company is currently seeking a highly driven , high energy business development professional to apply to join our team as a Business Development Representative to drive new business and build relationships for our commercial roofing services. Apply Rite is a well-established roofing company that supports the ongoing development and success of our employees. Reporting to the Director of Business Development In this role you'll manage your own lead/sales pipeline, build strong customer relationships, and drive revenue for the company. You will be responsible for developing reroof opportunities, partnering with operations to deliver successful projects, and represent our company with integrity and professionalism in the market. This role is less about traditional "hard sales" and more about identifying strategic relationship building and market visibility. This is not an order-taking position .The right candidate will act as a brand ambassador for the company, helping ensure when property managers, multi-family owners, general contractors etc. have a project they will contact us. The right candidate will be comfortable building a territory, opening doors, and becoming a recognized presence within the industry. This role will play a key role in driving growth for the company. This job is salary plus commission.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as a brand ambassador representing the company within the commercial construction industry
  • Contact potential clients including property management companies, asset managers, ownership groups, real estate investors, developers, facility directors, general contractors, etc.
  • Identify and pursue large commercial re-roof and new construction opportunities
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate product/services
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Maintain a strong pipeline
  • Stay up to-date with new products/services
  • Maintain visibility within industry groups and local construction organizations
  • Help drive marketing initiatives that elevate the company's reputation and presence in the marketplace
  • Work with sales team, estimating team, project managers, sub-contractors etc.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years in a similar role (business development or sales account rep)
  • Experience working in construction is a plus
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Nimbus, Pipedrive)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of construction methods and project scheduling
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a pre-hire background check
Pay:
$50,000.00
  • $55,000.
00 per year
