This is your opportunity to make a difference for you and your family. Come join our team! Business Sales Representatives are responsible to prospect and generate new commercial business. This position requires cold calling on commercial accounts over the phone and in the field to generate new contracted permanent commercial sales.

Responsibilities of Position:

Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business

Determine customer needs and propose appropriate service solutions

Conduct cold call and prospecting activities that result in scheduled first appointments and follow-up appointments with decision makers

Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations to key decision makers to close the sale

Propose customer solutions that are compliant with appropriate local, state and federal regulations

Maintain positive customer relationships for first-year accounts in an attempt to grow and retain those accounts

Utilize the Company's CRM tool on a daily basis, scheduling and documenting activities, and developing prospective customer profiles

Perform data entry to populate electronic sales orders via the Sales Management System (SMS)

Prepare and submit accurate reporting and other paperwork in a timely manner and in accordance with Company policy

Develop and maintain awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly

Attend meetings regularly with management to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers

Perform other duties as assigned

Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals

Strong presentation and communication skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be organized with good time management skills

Possess proven analytical/problem-solving skills for the customer and the company

Proficient in Windows and Microsoft applications Experience & Knowledge Needed for

Position:

2 years outside business-to-business sales experience preferred, with a proven track record of success

Waste industry experience, a plus Physical Requirements in a

Regular Workday:

Frequently lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling a max of 10 lbs

Rarely lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling a max of 20 lbs

Continuously working outside in changing temperatures

Rarely working in wet/humid conditions

Rarely working in areas of dust, odors, mist, gases, and other airborne matter

Continuously sitting/standing/walking

Additional Working Conditions/Aspects:

Possible exposure to high traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas

Exposure to residential and commercial waste

Ability to travel between offices, as required

Ability to work flexible hours; expected to work nights and weekends as needed

Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays

Must be available for 24-hour emergency calls

Legally eligible to work in the United States

Valid driver's license (if applicable)

Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
