Job Description

Repair Sales Specialist Job Summary The basic function of this position is to build a relationship with and provide technical information to current and potential customers and assist them in determining their needs for the purchase of repair parts and other services. This technical sales role will require high quality customer service. Job Responsibilities Selling Aftermarket products primarily, repair parts. Interpret customers needs, and assist in determining parts required and advise of new design modifications and technical data. Process quotation requests and sales orders, including those requiring engineering. Assist Minster servicemen, service dept., sales, & engineering with requirements needed to fulfill customer needs. Supporting other Sales professionals as needed Recognizing and referring cross-sell opportunities. Participation in the emergency response team to fulfill customer requirements after normal working hours, weekends, and holidays. Other job duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma/GED required. Mechanical aptitude; ability to read and apply blueprints, manuals, and technical documents. Technical degree preferred; background in mechanical/electrical engineering or metal forming industry a plus. Knowledge of press room products (presses, feeds, related equipment). Proven success in technical sales with ability to generate new business and optimize opportunities preferred. Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office), organizational ability, and attention to detail. Analytical, problem-solving, and innovative mindset. Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work independently with integrity. Willingness to work extended hours during customer emergencies.
