The Claremore Progress is HIRING! Sales Representative The Claremore Progress is seeking an part time Advertising Sales Representative to join our team. We are looking for a go-getter who has energy to burn and a desire to do great things. The Progress is a twice-weekly newspaper in Rogers County. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can think outside the box and loves working with people. Responsibilities include presenting and selling advertising in legacy and digital products. You will prospect to find new customers and fulfill the needs of our current advertising partners. Organizational skills are critical so you can reach sales targets and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
Previous sales and customer service experience, ability to build rapport with others, strong communication skills.
Benefits:
hourly plus commission, and mileage reimbursement. About Us The Claremore Daily Progress is one of Rogers County's oldest continuous businesses. Its history surpasses that of the City of Claremore, being founded in 1892. It is the newspaper of record for Rogers County. Providing local, state and national content the newspaper has been Claremore's newspaper since June 29, 1892. The paper is published Tuesday and Saturday mornings. We cover the communities of Claremore, Chelsea, Inola, Oologah, Tiawah, Talala, Verdigris, Foyil and rural Rogers County. The newspaper maintains a 24-hour news website. Our Mission The paper strives to achieve several things as part of its mission:
  • To produce quality products of unquestioned credibility and integrity.
  • To promote a unique identity and culture for Claremore and Rogers County, differentiating this area from the remainder of the Tulsa metro.
