Business Development Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member Position Overview This is a full-time Business Development Representative career opportunity with Jason Hertel State Farm in Madras, OR, designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the insurance industry. You will receive structured training, hands-on coaching, and a clear path to grow professionally in a team-focused environment. Responsibilities Generate new business through proactive outreach to prospects and existing customers Set appointments and move prospects through the sales process Maintain accurate activity and pipeline records in the agency system Meet weekly and monthly outreach and production goals Participate in product training and licensing coursework Qualifications No prior experience required - we will train you Strong phone presence and clear, confident communication Self-motivated and comfortable with consistent outreach and follow-up Willingness to obtain required insurance licenses Team-oriented with a positive, coachable attitude Benefits Base salary plus performance-based commission 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off (vacation, sick, and personal days) Paid company holidays Gym membership Clear career advancement paths Pay range: $50,000-$70,000 per year This includes base salary, commissions, and bonuses.
