We are Vista Pathology Laboratory, LLC. We are comprised of 10 pathologists who, with the help of our talented laboratory employees, provide comprehensive medical diagnostic services to hospitals and surgery centers as well as primary care and specialist clinics throughout the Rogue Valley region. Since 1950, the physicians of Vista Pathology have been dedicated to providing timely and accurate technical diagnostic results and expertise to our providers and their patients. We are committed to understanding the needs of our local medical community and adapting our practice to meet the demands of area providers to provide excellent patient care. As board-certified physicians specializing in a variety of pathology disciplines, and as community members ourselves, we have a shared commitment and dedication to support the health and welfare of patients throughout Southern Oregon.POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional, and experienced Territory Business Development Representative who can help maintain and strengthen existing business with current clients and grow Vista Pathology's business by obtaining new clients. The Territory Business Development Representative will help our clients to better understand the full potential of our laboratory services. This is a relationship-driven, field-based customer service and business development position. The successful candidate will regularly visit physician offices and healthcare facilities, meet with physicians and clinical staff, provide education and support, identify client needs, introduce new testing and services, and ensure that our clients receive responsive and exceptional service. The Territory Business Development Representative serves as an important connection between our clients and the laboratory and must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, practice administrators, nurses, medical assistants, laboratory personnel, and administrative staff.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science or Associate's degree in the health care field.
- Knowledge and technical understanding of pathology laboratory workflow, histology, cytology, molecular diagnostics, and laboratory information systems/EMR.
- Must have computer literacy, experience with data entry, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable giving presentations.
- Ability to travel 80% of the time within the company's service areas.
- Comfortable communicating directly with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Excellent driving record with a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to pursue sales calls, timely follow-up with clients, and close the sale.
- Exceptional customer service skills and entrepreneurial selling skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years of successful laboratory sales or medical field experience preferred.
WORK SCHEDULE
- Full time - 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
