intern Company Description Career Helps delivers the Industry Ready Program (IRP) to help college students build practical, market-ready skills. The Early Booster Course supports students in the initial years of college with interview preparation and capability-building aligned with industry expectations. Participants complete the program with a guaranteed internship that offers hands-on experience on live projects in an active business environment. The Fast Track Course serves final-year students who have not yet secured employment, providing intensive training over three months to accelerate their transition into the workforce. Role Description The Business Development Intern role is an on-site internship based in Remote, OR. The intern supports outreach to potential partners and clients, assists in identifying new business opportunities, and contributes to maintaining relationships with existing stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, preparing presentations and proposals, updating CRM or tracking tools, and supporting follow-ups via email, calls, and meetings. The intern may also assist in coordinating events or campaigns related to the Industry Ready Program and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve communication and program visibility. Qualifications Business development and sales support skills, including lead generation, client outreach, and relationship-building. Analytical and research skills to study markets, competitors, and customer needs and translate findings into actionable insights. Communication and presentation skills to create clear emails, proposals, reports, and slide decks for internal and external stakeholders. Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, maintain records, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Comfort with digital tools and productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation tools, CRM or tracking systems). Enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Strong interest in education, career development, and helping students become industry-ready. Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Remote, OR, with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
